Used many times. Convenient, fast, best deals

NEVER USE IT! Worst service I used ever!

When you order it you are absolutely blind - just can see offers with prices. Company does not work properly with its partners (rentcars) so they can easily cheat you via tis service. My experience with ordering a car on Cyprus via this company was completely awful. Ive chosen the best best offer in Larnaka airport for the Mercedes E-cluss or other luxury car. The offer was from AVIS - another company Ill never ever deal with. 1) Though while ordering the system shows you that car will be in the airport - in reality you have to find a shuttle bus from AVIS and go with it out for a while. And you should be very precise reading all the details of your order to find it noted in very small letters. So the interface is blind and good for cheating. 2) you have to prepay - and in case you find out anything wrong with you booking in less than 48 hours before the pick-up time - you would be fined for 3 days of renting!!!! Even in case you have a complete rubbish instead of the car youve ordered. 3) callcenter of rentalcars.com works only working days and working hours... In case you have any issue with you order any other day or time - do not worry, nobody will help you. 4) when I came to the remote office of AVIS (with wife, children and a lot of luggage after rather long waiting for AVIS shuttle bus) with a hope to get a car and go to the office - AVIS gave me all papers to sign, charged me extras for 100% insurance and otger stuff - and then the gave me... C-class Mercedes... And on my question "What is that?" The answer was "But this is the only Mercedes we have"... "But I paid for E-class luxury!!!". "We do not have E-class at all. We have Volvo S60 - but it is very old and you should better take C-class".

Some functions are not intuitive

Tried to change booking time. The app said everything is okay, but still displayed the same time (same on web version). The time was finally changed only after few hours.

НЕ БРОНИРУЙТЕ! Компания обманывает клиентов. Вы предлагаете на аренду автомобили, которые фактически отсутствуют у ваших "партнёров". После пятидневного ожидания подтверждения, ваш оператор сообщил мне, что ваша компания получила емэйл от конечного арендодателя примерного содержания "таких автомобилей у нас нет и не будет". Речь о забронированном и ОПЛАЧЕННОМ автомобиле VW BEETLE cabrio. И все это время вы бесплатно использовали мои деньги. 5 дней ждал подтверждение и в течении двух недель вы обещаете вернуть мои деньги(ещё не факт). По итогу я остался без автомобиля и без денег на аренду другого. И от ваших "извините" мне легче не стало. Но вы продолжаете предлагать такие же автомобили на те же даты от того же партнёра. Таких автомобилей у него нет. Значит обманом занимается непосредственно ВАША компания. DO NOT BOOK! The company is cheating customers. Do you offer rental cars which are virtually absent from your "partners". After five days of waiting for acknowledgment, your operator informed me that your company received Email from the end of the lessor of an exemplary content "of such vehicles have not and never will." Its about booked and paid for the car VW BEETLE cabrio. And all this time you have used my money for free. 5 days waiting for confirmation and within two weeks you promise to return my money (not yet a fact). In the end, I was left with no car and no money to rent another. And by your "sorry" to me it has not become easier. But you continue to offer the same cars on the same date by the same partner. There he had no car. So cheating is engaged directly in your company.

Could be better

Sometime currency is fancy, you change setting but currency in quotation doesnt change. Other times changing currency reduces the offers. Prices on app are often higher than on website

No customer support!

Good app for renting but Ive been calling and calling from southamerica to the english tel. number to cancel my booking ( you cannot do it from the app in the same day in which the rent starts) spending a lot of money but... No answer at all ! Thats not fair.

Great app & service

This is indeed a great service very reliable its now the fifth time I Rent-A-Car through this app. During my last rental, while standing at the rental desk at the airport, I realised I forgot my license at home so I called up their help desk in the UK to ask a "name switch" with my wife was with me: they agreed and in 10 minutes theyve sent an email to the rental company at the airport, confirming the new drivers name. Great!

Dont bother!

Dont book a car through this site! I did, and when I arrived at the car rental agency at my scheduled pick up time, they had closed early, leaving me stuck paying twice as much at another car rental counter. Cant call the customer service number for rentalcars.com, its in England. Stuck waiting for a refund, havent heard a thing from them since submitting the required paperwork. First and last time using this company. Kayak never gave me this much trouble...

DO NOT USE!

DO NOT USE! This company pairs you with some of the absolute worst in the rental car business and does not give you an opportunity to know how awful they are until its too late. Oh and dont bother try to reach their customer service department-- they dont want to be bothered as indicated by their lack of contact information. They a get a commission to help screw you over.

VERY Misleading

The should be using geofencing to stop US customers from using this app. If youre from the US, you can NOT use this app to rent a car. While you get an amazing rate, its not valid in the US per some very very small print. Theyll take your money, but not tell you.

Not worth it

Never has the car model that shows on the reservation available for rent! Bait and switch! They will give you an example that the rental company doesnt even own on their fleet. Also, its impossible to change your reservation once it starts. I no longer needed my car but received no credit for returning it days early. Horrendous customer service! I was charged for two cancelations and its been a nightmare trying to get a refund even though I cancelled during the free cancelation time. Never using them again!

Disappointed

Reserved a car. Went to pick it up and the car company said there were no cars available. I got a message 3 hours later from car rentals.com saying my request could not be filled. It shouldnt take 2 days to confirm a booking/request.

Closed on Sunday means see ya monday

Ive used the app/company several times and every problem Ive had was my entirely my own fault or my pitiful devices. Theyre flexible, true to their advertisement and so far, booking my pick up on the day (sunday) that the agencys closed is the only glitch Ive found. Sorta my fault too, actually

شركة نصب واحتيال وخدمة سيئة وحصل موقف لا احسد عليه معهم وهوا كالتالي: unfortunately I booked a car throw your agency N# 331806576 and after a stressful flight I reached the Avis company for receiving my car they refused after 15 mints of delay because the master card prepaid I told him it is written in the booking website and in the recieve it is prepaid but they just refused and looked like they doesnt care and I asked them to give me any solutions they claimed a lot of customers having problem with them regarding like my pre paid master card and other issues and when I asked to give me my money back also refused I tried to contact your agency but I could not because there were no clear email and I there were no response with the number which in site there message was to there superfizer and I ""This is ref TRAVELJIGSAW RESERVATION 002121057708 Mr.Nasser al shiri customer is holding only debit card and pre paid card due to this reason we refused to give him car and the reservation is cancelled. Thanks & regards Haris I stayed in the airport more than 5 hours to find a car and I found another company very friendly and helpful finally I get one what I need now my money back right away with no delay as your service thank you
